Port Adelaide Enfield Zero Project
‘Walking home together’ – ‘Wardli Kumangka Padninthi’
The Adelaide North West Homelessness Alliance, together with the South Australian Alliance to End Homelessness (SAAEH) and the City of Port Adelaide Enfield (PAE), are excited to announce the launch of a second Zero Project in South Australia: the Port Adelaide Enfield Zero Project.
An example of collective impact in action, the focus for this new Zero Project in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield is on ending rough sleeping for adults over 18.
With the support of like-minded, passionate individuals and organisations, our vision is to end rough sleeping homelessness, making it rare, brief and once-off. In addition, the goal of this Zero Project is to influence the system towards positive change.
We are deeply committed to the successful implementation of zero work in our community. Providing services through a collaborative partnership between 7 for-purpose community organisations and the South Australian Housing Authority, the Adelaide North West Homelessness Alliance believes safe and appropriate housing is a human right, and essential to everyone’s independence and wellbeing.
A special thank you to those who have championed and contributed to our efforts to date, including community, staff, the Adelaide Zero Project, and other Zero Projects across the country. We look forward to our continued efforts together.
